After the success of the last marvel shows (WandaVision, Loki), Disney+ is streaming  an other marvel show, as Marvel is about to introduce us to another comics character: 

Moon Knight

The first thing I would like you to read about is who’s moon knight? So here is a little comics based introduction to this special and mysterious superhero.

Moon Knight (Marc Spector) is a character appearing in Marvel Comics, created by writer Doug Moench and artist Don Perlin. Its first appearance was in Werewolf by night #32 (August 1975).

Marc Spector was once a mercenary left for death in the desert, where he was revived by the Egyptian moon god Khonsu(picture above), Appointed as Khonshu's fist and high priest, Moon Knight enacts justice to protect those who travel at night. Marc also has dissociative identity disorder, some of his alters being millionaire Steven Grant and cab driver Jake Lockley.

As a gift from Khonsu, Moon Knight got enhanced strength during nights with full moons, prophetic visions, and dreams,and the ability to drain another person’s life energies through physical contact.


Now after being introduced to the character from the comics , let’s go through the series that I am personally hyped about.

Moon knight is a television miniseries created by Jeremy Slater. It is intended to be the sixth television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) produced by Marvel Studios, sharing continuity with the films of the franchise. Slater serves as head writer with Mohamed Diab (an Egyptian director as the series will dive into Egyptian mythology)  leading the directing team.

Moon Knight is scheduled to premiere on March 30, 2022, and will consist of six episodes. It will be part of Phase Four of the MCU.

The show will be all about  Steven Grant and mercenary Marc Spector investigating the mysteries of the Egyptian gods from inside the same body
